For the Car Search
1) The payment of the £10 holding deposit and the signing of an agreement form which will be sent to your postal address for signing and then returning back to Find me the Right Car via email, post or hand delivery will certify that Find me the Right Car will begin to supply you with details of up to 3 cars of your choice within 14 working days.
2) The 14 working day time period commences on Find me the Right Car receiving the £10 holding deposit and the signed agreement form which you must either email, post or hand deliver back to Find me the Right Car.
3) If the 14 working day time period is exceeded and Find me the Right Car has not been able to supply you with the details of any cars which match the description of the car of your choice, you will automatically receive a further 14 working day period at no extra charge. Alternatively, you can opt to receive a refund of your £10 holding deposit if you request this in writing via email or post. A refund of your £10 holding deposit will bring the contract between you and Find me the Right Car to an end.
4) If the correct details of 3 cars of your choice are supplied to you within the 14 working day time period and one of the cars is not purchased by you, then a further £10 holding deposit is payable for a further 14 working day time period.
5) Find me the Right Car reserves the right to refuse to take on a new contract, but only with sufficient grounds to do so. Notice to this effect will be supplied.
6) Acceptance of the £10 holding deposit and the signing of the agreement form will be considered as commencement of the contract between you and Find me the Right Car. Find me the Right Car will then match you with your desired car as quickly as possible within the 14 working day time frame.
7) Find me the Right Car will endeavour to keep to the description of your desired car that was provided in your application form. However, in certain circumstances, Find me the Right Car may supply you with information of a car that is similar to the specification that you have indicated on the application form, this will not constitute one of your 3 choices.
8) On the payment of the £10 holding deposit and the signing of the agreement form this in itself constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions. This bounds both you and Find me the Right Car.
9) The £10 holding deposit is non-refundable except for when a car is purchased by yourself through Find me the Right Car and in the event of a fault by Find me the Right Car which prevents the continuation of the contract.
10) If for any reason a refund of the £10 holding deposit is necessary, this in itself terminates the contractual agreement between you and Find me the Right Car.
11) The £10 holding deposit can only be used by the person named on the application form and the agreement form which is sent to your postal address for signing.
12) Find me the Right Car reserves the right to terminate any contract immediately if any of the information supplied on the application form is found to be deliberately misleading or false. Notice to this effect will be supplied. No refund of the £10 holding deposit will be given.
13) Find me the Right Car reserves the right to refuse an application on the grounds of false or misleading information.
14) If at any time throughout the contract you decide to change your requirements for your chosen car, a new application form will need to be completed. A further £10 holding deposit is not payable, unless you have already received details of 3 cars of your choice within the 14 working day period.
15) Find me the Right Car must be informed of any changes in the details that are supplied on the application form. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the contract between you and Find me the Right Car. Notice will be provided to this effect. No refund of the £10 holding deposit will be given.
16) It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that any information provided is correct. Any errors will result in Find me the Right Car despatching information on cars different from your actual required car(s). This may subsequently result in one or more of your 3 choices lost.
17) If you do not require a car immediately you must notify Find me the Right Car from the outset. The date you require the car should be noted on the application form, any failure to do so may result in information being despatched to you too early and you losing one or more of your 3 choices.
18) If during the contractual period you find a car by yourself or through other sources, you must inform Find me the Right Car immediately. The contract will subsequently be terminated. No refund of the £10 holding deposit will be given.
19) Any termination of the contract by you will normally be required in writing and given to Find me the Right Car.
20) You, the applicant, must endeavour to make every available effort to liaise with Find me the Right Car in an attempt to find the appropriate car for you as quickly as possible. If contact is lost for a considerable period of time the contract will be terminated. All appointments must be kept.
21) If during the contractual period you fail to keep up correspondence with Find me the Right Car, this will be viewed as though you no longer require the services of Find me the Right Car and the contract will be terminated. Notice will be given to this effect. No refund of the £10 holding deposit will be given.
22) Throughout the contract with Find me the Right Car, any correspondence from yourself to Find me the Right Car must not be undertaken through a third party unless it is a matter of urgency, or beyond your control, or indicated by yourself to Find me the Right Car at the commencement of the contract.
23) Upon notification by Find me the Right Car that a car(s) is ready for you to view you must be willing to take immediate action, whenever possible.
24) At least 2 hours notice is required if you are unable to keep any appointment either with Find me the Right Car or with any other involved parties.
25) If appointments are not kept (unless due to reasons beyond your control) Find me the Right Car reserves the right to terminate the contract. No refund of the £10 holding deposit will be given.
26) A charge of £2 per mile (commencing from your home address or your pick-up point) will be charged if you need to be transported to and from various establishments in order to view the car(s) on offer.
27) If the car is sold before you arrive to view it, Find me the Right Car will not be liable for the reimbursement of any expenses or losses that you incur. This will not be viewed as one of your 3 choices lost, as long as action was taken promptly to view the car on offer. ( i.e. within 24 hours of being notified )
28) Find me the Right Car strongly advises that prior to purchasing a car from one of the establishments recommended by Find me the Right Car, a full mechanical inspection should be obtained from a reputable independent organisation such as the AA, RAC or Green Flag. Alternatively, you can appoint a motor mechanic of your choice or Find me the Right Car's choice in order to inspect the car prior to purchasing it.
29) Find me the Right Car cannot give you a full and comprehensive mechanical inspection of any car prior to you purchasing it.
30) Find me the Right Car accepts no responsibility for any faults on any car purchased from any of the recommended establishments. Any faults with the car must be dealt with by you and the company / organisation where purchased.
31) On you (the applicant) purchasing a car from any of the establishments recommended by Find me the Right Car, this will terminate the contract between yourself and Find me the Right Car. However, when possible, Find me the Right Car will still endeavour to assist with any queries that you may have.
32) A finder's fee is payable after Find me the Right Car finds you a car of your choice which you subsequently purchase.
33) Any £10 holding deposit(s) paid to Find me the Right Car on the commencement of the contract will be deducted from the finder's fee which is charged to you after you purchase the car which is found through Find me the Right Car.
Terms & Conditions
For Your Part Exchange Car
1) You must ensure that you have the registration document ( V5C ) before you present your car as a part exchange.
2) Your receipt of purchase may be required as proof of ownership of the car.
3) Any known history of your car having an insurance write-off claim or a stolen recovery claim, or having a number plate transfer, or a mileage change, or being of police interest, must be declared before you present your car for a part exchange.
4) You must not have any finance payments outstanding on your car, if you do, this amount must be paid off in full before the part exchange transaction.
5) Before presenting your car as a part exchange, you must ensure that your car is in a clean and presentable condition, this also means washed and vacuumed.
6) Your car will be checked for any mechanical defects, structural damage and bodywork damage. A road test will also be conducted.
7) Any items that were in your car at the time of the valuation by the motor trader must be left in your car as this formed part of the valuation.
8) Any changes made after the valuation may decrease the valuation price previously stated to you.
9) Any price that is stated for your car is only valid at the particular time it was given. If you subsequently take your car away and return it at a later date, you may find that the previous price stated may change.
10) By leaving your car with the motor trader, this will be viewed as a part deposit or a part exchange towards your new chosen car.
Find me the Right Car will make every attempt to be committed to a high level of customer service and professionalism. However, in doing so, what has to be taken into consideration is that mistakes may occasionally occur. Find me the Right Car promises to do everything in our control to rectify the mistake in an attempt to achieve for you complete customer satisfaction. However, having said this, we want to make it clear that we welcome any form of complaints and compliments ( whether verbally or written ) as this will help us to greatly improve our service to you, our valued customer. We assure you that all complaints and compliments will be kept on file and a response provided to you immediately. We hope never to lose your custom, because we understand, without you, there will be no us.
I have read and fully understood the terms and conditions of this agreement. I agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and I realize that if I do not abide by these terms and conditions Find me the Right Car may terminate the contract at any time.
